The museum-reserve Pavlovsk is the remarkable masterpiece of landscape art. The area of the outstanding palace and park ensemble is more than 600 hectares. Combining numerous towers, columns, pavilions, bridges with natural features of terrain brings a particular charm to the park. Pavlovsk is a beautiful summer residence built for the heir to the Russian throne Paul and his wife Mary Fedorovna. The conception and personal tastes of the owners of Pavlovsk were substantiated in a special intimate and homely atmosphere of the palace.
On the way to Pavlovsk you will learn a story about creation of residence and his owners’ fate. In Pavlovsk you will see how classical beauty of the palace is skillfully associated with the picturesque landscapes of one of the biggest parks in Europe.
